The South Carolina Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Team embodies the spirit of 1 Peter 4:10, “Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.

As volunteers, they offer their time, talents, and compassion in service to the five presbyteries of South Carolina — Charleston Atlantic, Foothills, New Harmony, Providence, and Trinity—and the communities within them. With hearts set on Christ, they prepare for, respond to, and help recover from natural and human-caused disasters, answering the call to be the hands and feet of Jesus in times of need, bringing comfort, hope, and restoration to those who suffer.
