On May 17, 2025, the Foothills Presbytery Disaster Preparedness Commission participated in the 2025 Marketplace event held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Greenville, SC. The marketplace provided teaching and ruling Elders the opportunity to visit with over thirty community-based faith organizations to provide learning of connectional church services in helping to support their communities. Educational materials, reference publications, and gifts of support were provided to attendees to reinforce the importance of the ministry of presence.
