Members of the Harbor View Presbyterian Church of Charleston, SC, Charleston Atlantic Presbytery, participated in the PDA Hosting program to support with service and christian fellowship to impacted communities of the Presbytery of Western North Carolina. Rieko Sloane and Commissioned Pastor Scott Gruale, 843.270.8384, scott@harborviewpc.org, spearheaded the work trip during the week of June 10, 2025, at the New Hope Church, Asheville, North Carolina.
PDA has established three hosting sites across the impacted presbytery to welcome teams from across the United States wishing to help in God’s mission of serving those marginalized by Hurricane Helene. Teams of up to twenty people are being programmed for service opportunities over the next two years.
